Our Precision Agriculture Incubation Program is highly competitive, fostering a transformative learning experience for youths in Smart & Digital Agriculture.
Admission is limited to fifty (50) candidates, each required to pay a 50,000 Naira commitment fee. The program, generously funded by a 90% scholarship, encourages all genders, allocating 40% to female participants.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Background:
– Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Agriculture, Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
– Exceptional Agricultural undergraduates (in their penultimate or final year) with a strong interest in precision agriculture are eligible.

2. Age:
– 18 to 30 years old.

3. Gender Diversity:
– Open to all genders, with a dedicated 40% allocation for female participants who are greatly encouraged to apply.

4. Commitment Fee:
– Candidates must pay a non-refundable commitment fee of 50,000 Naira upon acceptance.
– Candidates are responsible for their accommodation, feeding and logistics to practical training sites in Lagos and Abeokuta.

5. Scholarship Funding:
– The program is 90% scholarship-funded, covering tuition and training materials for ONLY 50 competitively selected participants

Selection Criteria:

1. Passion for Precision Agriculture:
– Demonstrated passion for leveraging technology in agriculture.
2. Academic Excellence:
– Strong academic record with relevant coursework or research in agriculture, technology, or related fields.

3. Business or Research Innovation Idea:
Desired candidates possesses business or research innovation idea in digital/precision agriculture which they wish to nurture to implementation

4. Leadership and Initiative:
– Leadership experience or demonstrated initiative in previous projects.

5. Innovation and Problem-Solving:
– Ability to think innovatively and solve complex problems.

6. Communication Skills:
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Commitment to Agriculture Transformation:
– Clear commitment to contributing to the transformation of agriculture in local communities.

Admission Process:

1. Application Submission:
– Complete the online application form with accurate and comprehensive information.

2. Review and Shortlisting:
– Rigorous review of applications, shortlisting candidates based on eligibility and selection criteria.

3. Interviews:
– Shortlisted candidates will undergo 20 minute interviews to assess passion, skills, and commitment.

4. Final Selection:
– Fifty (50) outstanding candidates will be selected for admission into the Precision Agriculture Incubation Program.

5. Admission Offer:
– Successful candidates will receive an admission letter with details on the program and the bank account details for the commitment fee.

Program Structure:

  • Two-month intensive training, Monday to Friday, for 8 weeks.
  • Commencement Date – 15th February, 2024.
  • Physical classroom training, including Flight Simulation and Agriculture UAV Building classes in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.
  • On-site practical training in Abeokuta.
